Sunrise Trek to Uttari Betta [1st April 2021] - Registration is ON

About Uttari Betta :

One of Karnataka's greatest day hike, the Uttari Betta is a 5 kms trek across a spectacular lush green landscape which offers a quite unique scenic views similar to western ghats. The trek starts from a small village, entering the fort wall and passes through seven doors of stone to reach the halfway point of the hike which has a temple of Shankareswar at the top. The view from the temple top is beautiful enough to seize your mind for a moment. Once we cross the temple, the trek continues ahead crossing a small jungle-cave, experiencing a whole new unexpected world and ends at the grassland top of the hill which is surrounded by huge boulders.

*Caution:
-Please don't register if you are very unfit or suffer from weak joints. This event requires basic fitness and a decent amount of stamina.

Tentative Schedule:
Thursday - 1st April 2021
11:00PM - Pickup from BMC, Indiranagar
11:15PM - Pickup from  New Shanti sagar Hotel, Domlur
11:30PM - Pick up from Lifestyle, Victoria Road          

Friday - 2nd April 2021
01:30 AM -Reach the base & rest for a while
04:00 AM - Start Trekking
06:00 AM - Reach the peak, & explore. 
07:00 AM - Trek down to base and Depart to Bangalore                     
08:00 AM - Have breakfast on the way 
10:00 AM - Reach back to Bangalore         

Note: Drop points will be the same as pick-up points.

To Carry:

- Torch (with new batteries)
- Personal medication (if any)
- One strong backpack
- WATER BOTTLES (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water)
- Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc)
- Light-coloured full arm clothes (preferable)
- Sports shoes (for better grip)
- Camera (optional)
