Two days trek to Choma Kundh and White Water Rafting
- [1st - 2nd Sept 2012]-
Registration is ON
About the place:
Choma Kundh (1620 mts), located in Coorg, is a lesser known trek in the western ghats. The trekking trail begins on a green coffee plantation at the beautiful Chelavara falls. The trail goes through forests and grassland typical of high hills, with breathtaking views and landscapes. The trail is about 5-6 kilometers long, and the terrain is not too difficult (the peak can be reached in 2-3 hours at mid-pace). The peak lying above the clouds, makes a perfect view-point with postcard quality scenery (Don't forget your camera). A part of Kerala can be seen from Choma Kundh.
