Hi,

We were trying to make a plan of different trekking route in place of VT. Unfortunately maximum trekking routes are closed due to bad weather (eg. Bramhagiri). It would be very difficult for ***** (only person from Team who was supposed to handle this show) to manage all the things when our efforts of arranging VT trek are wasted :(

Still ***** has an itch to arranging one 1 day trek on sat or Sunday, he will be announcing it soon.

VT Participants will get back their refunds lately by Tuesday.

regards,

Neeraj

Veerappan Trek Participants:

We are sorry to announce the cancellation of "Veerappan Trail Trek" happening on 24-25th June 2006.

Few minutes back we got a call from Forest Department stating that there is a heavy rainfall happening in said trekking region. The trekking region is elevated area and clouds are very close to the earth due to which all the time visibility is almost zero. This is a usual party time for wildlife and forest dept doesn't want BMC members to become their feast.

DFO of respective district has given order to stop all treks in that region till end of monsoon.

We are short of time; still we will try to arrange another trek and post it max by tomorrow morning. People willing to cancel their 24-25 June Trek registration are allowed to do so. New participants can register before tomorrow evening max. All participants will get their 100% refund in case we are not able to arrange any trek.

Please wait for another email from one of the Team BMC.

Very sorry for the inconvenience.
