Scuba diving and snorkeling at Goa - [24th January 2016] - Registration is ON
This Scuba Diving Experience is a one day
program which is designed for people wanting to try their first scuba dive.
Swimming skill is desirable but NOT essential for this program, anyone over the
age of 10 can participate as long as they are not afraid of being in water.
Your day starts with a short briefing explaining the principles of diving and your equipment, followed by a dive in the swimming pool to get used to being underwater. You will learn some basic skills, get comfortable with the dive gear. Once you are comfortable in the water, you will be taken for your dive under the close, direct supervision of a dive instructor- in the best case scenario the instructor takes two people underwater with him so he can hold on to your tanks, you are never alone underwater. The dives are less than 12 m deep, usually between 6-10 m. The dive time on an average is 30 mins, could be more or less depending on your comfort level. We start at 07:15 am and finish by around 3:30 pm. The dive happens at Grande Island, which is around 15 kms from the Dona Paula jetty, about an hour long boat ride.
Note: The above mentioned itinerary is tentative & it can be changed according to the situation (For example - We may do the Scuba diving & Snorkeling on Saturday and the Saturday's program can be shifted to Sunday)
