Parasailing event [18th April, 2010] - Houseful!

Parasailing is a recreational activity where a person's harness is hooked to and towed behind a vehicle while attached to a parachute. The vehicle then drives off to give flight to the chute, carrying the parasailer into the air. The parasailer has no control over the parachute but is safely hooked on to the vehicle which maneuvers his flight. The Parasailer experience upto 100ft height with approx 1 minute of airtime (depending on wind conditions).

The joyride is breathtaking and thoroughly enjoyable. Landings are easy: the tow vehicle slows down and the rider is gently lowered to earth, making it a safe flight for the parasailer.

This is the lowest cost airborne experience and is specially arranged for BMC members and any interested individuals at the BMC Paragliding Training site, Hoskote Ground, Old Madras Road.

Remember this is not a training: its just one time experience and doesn't have any major pre-requisites.

Registrations is on First Come First Serve Basis.

How to reach:
Take Old Madras road -> Right hand side you will see BPL Sonyo Company ->From there take first left turn-> Cross Baldwin International School -> Cross small village (Cross 4 big road humps) ->Around 200-300mtrs, take right turn at Grape Farm (You will see Andrew Wood Craft) -> Follow the road and reach Hoskote Lake.
