This is a simple and concise workshop aimed at the beginners and is a right mix of theoretical lessons and hands on training - to help you understand the jargon and technicalities as well as the art of photography.
What you will learn:
- Range of Cameras
- Overview of DSLRs
- Overview of DSLR lenses
3. Understanding Exposure
- The troika (ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed)
-Focal length and its impact on the above.
- Metering, Metering Modes
- Light, Exposure compensation
- White Balance
4. Fundamentals of composition
5. Tips and tricks
6. Photo-walk and a quick review of pictures.
7. A quick overview of Post Processing
8. Q & A
A DSLR or a Point and Shoot with a manual mode. If you have neither, but yet you are interested, do come anyway

About the Instructor:
Neeta Shankar is an R&D Engineer and a freelance photographer based in Bangalore. She is a self-taught artist whose passion lies in capturing moments. Neeta loves traveling and has traveled extensively across India. Her pictures from Ladakh have been exhibited in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Goa. She has covered events like Tour of Nilgiris 2010, Celebration Run Mysore Marathon as the official photographer. Neeta shoots fashion, travel and weddings. http://www.neet
