About the place:
Trekking at the regions of Garhwal and Kinnaur along the Rupin Pass is all made for the adventurous nature lovers who are keen to explore a remote Himalayan valley. This fascinating trekking brings all the classical attractions to hold the ascending gentle trails through luxuriant Oak and Conifer Forest and ancient traditional Hindu mountain villages to the alpine meadows where mountain peaks soar above Rupin Pass to highlight the lush green landscape all around the valleys. The trek will also carry the adventurers around the three valleys namely Rupin, Baspa & Pin to catch the meadow campsites with each having a great feature of their own.
The local villages in each region bring an occasion of looking upon at and appreciate different cultures, religion and practices. The stark Himalayan landscape of Spiti region is quite challenging bringing impressive ideas of Himalayan beauty with Sangla Valley as one of the most fascinating and least visited areas of the Himalaya.

Day - 1: Reporting at Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula area) at 06:30 AM & proceed to Dhaula (10hrs. drive)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Dhaula via Kempty falls, Naugaon, Damta, Purola, and mori. Overnight stay in tents.
Day - 2: Dhola - Sevah(8 km trek/4 hrs approx. Altitude 2000 meters)
We will drive to Dhola, our starting point of the trek. The trek starts from here; today we will trek up to Sevah. On arrival set out camp for an overnight stay in Tents.
Day - 3 : Sevah - Jakha (2650mts/8696 ft) 12km.
After breakfast trek up to Jaskin. Enroute, one can see the picturesque views, lush green meadow, water falls, snow capped mountains and much more. On arrival set out camp for an overnight stay in Tents.
Day - 4: Jakha - Saruwas Thach (3450 mts/11316 ft)
Today's trek is 8 km and it will take about 5 - 6 hrs to reach Saruwasthach camping ground, moving at a leisurely pace so as to enjoy the beauty of the place. Overnight stay in Tent.
Day - 5: SaruwasThach - Dhandrasthach (3760 mts/11680 ft)
Early morning we set out towards.Enjoy fantastic views of the Route. To reach here we would have trekked for covering 6 km. Overnight stay in Tents.
Day - 6 : DhandrasThach – Upper waterfall camp(4054mts/13300ft)
Trek 6 km to reach upper waterfall camp. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 7: Upper waterfall camp - RUPIN PASS - Rounti Gad (altitude 4550 mt/15250 ft)
We start early in the morning to cross the pass. From RatiPheri/ upper waterfall camp the climb is steep and demanding. After an hour or so we reach the vast stretch of the snow field and locate the pass above on the ridge line. We climb up and climb ends at Rupin Pass (~4650m, 15200ft) and the view is mesmerizing. This eternally snowbound pass puts up the snowy mountains of KinnaurKailash range on the northern side while the Rupin valley in the south. After spending some time we start the steep descent towards Sangla side. After crossing the snowline the descent is sharper till we reach Ronti Gad at the starting of the green meadows (4100m, 13450ft). Distance is 12 Km. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 8: Rounti Gad – Sanglakandi - Shimla
Today will be the last day of the trek and we start in the morning to descend to the Baspa river valley. The height loss is rapid till we reach SanglaKandi. This is a meadow and has a small lake. Here motorable road at Sangla (2700m, 8850ft). Distance is 12 Km. Today we will drop you at Shimla. Trek ends here.

- Backpack 35- 40 Liters (You can chose to send it with horse/porter at actual cost)
- Small day pack 20 Liters (you can use this on the trail to carry your trail food, camera, water and trail layers. Ideal to carry only if you are sending bigger bag on horse/porter)
