Trek to Nag Tibba With White Water Rafting - [4th and 5th April 2015] - Registration is Open


 

Nag Tibba ('Serpent's Peak'), 3,022 metres (9,915 ft), is the highest peak in the lesser himalayan region of Uttarakhand state (Garhwal Division), and lends its name to the 'Nag Tibba Range', itself the next-northerly of the five folds of the Himalaya. It is situated 16 km (9.9 mi) away from Landour cantonment, and around 57 km from Mussoorie in Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The 'Nag Tibba Range' is amongst three principal ranges of the Lesser Himalayas, which includes the Dhauladhar, and the Pir Panjal, which branched off from theGreat Himalayas[1][2]

In March, the rhododendron trees are in bloom.The mountain's mixed with oak and deodar forests are dense and isolated.There is also high probability of snow in the winter months from Jan To March from Nag Tibba Base camp to its peak.

The trek through Nag Tibba Range, finds mention in the book Seven Years in Tibet, which chronicles the journey of mountaineers, Heinrich Harrer, Peter Aufschnaiter in May 1944, towards Tibet.

Day 01   :
Report at Dehradun 6:00am Note :Your expected to reach at Dehradun on previous night (Start To Nag Tibba base camp)
12:00pm : Reach Pantwari Via Masoorie - Kempty Falls Nainbagh
               Start Trek ( 5kms Till Nag Tibba Base ).
6:00pm   : Reach Nag Tibba Base ( Camp Out & Dinner)

Day 02    : Camp 1 to Nag Tibba summit & back to Pantwari.
6:00pm   : Reach Back To Rishikesh.

Day 03    : Early Morning Wake up - Fresh n up & Breakfast .
9:00am   : Start to Shivpuri for white water rafting.
3:00pm   : Finish with rafting, local sight seeing & Start Back.

Cost Includes:
- Camping Tents, Kitchen tents, Dining Tent and Sleeping bags (Holofill) and Carry mats.
