Here is a final list of 42 people. 40 with rafting and 2 without rafting. (still 1 person is in Waiting list)

Few more points I forgot to add.

 

  1. Put all your cloths in plastic bag before putting it in rucksack.
  2. Use different plastic bag for cloths, mobile, wallet, camera, food etc.
  3. Our tents are not 100% water proof. (Sorry for the surprise.)
  4. People who need Sleeping bag or ruck sack on rent have to inform us NOW, so that we can arrange it in advance.
  5. Cancellation will be accepted ONLY if there is anyone in Waiting list who can take up your seat – 100% money will be refunded in this case.

I see many people are having transport issue to travel Symphony or Family Mart in the morning. I wouldn’t mind arranging pickup for your nearest location, but pickup for 40 people will take at least 3-4 hours. And we have to shorten the first day activity. Either you all guys should be OK with this or at least try to reach anywhere on the road which goes from MG Road to Kanakpura road. Second option sounds good.

People having serious trouble in reaching early morning can stay with friends in the town. In any case you guys plz send me your prefer pickup point to neeraj (at) peerme.com  (it should be somewhere on the road going from  MG road to Kanakpura road – ie Symphony Theater, Sagar Apollo, Jain Temple-Jainagar 4 th Block, Banashankri Temple, Family Mart)

Important points to keep in mind:

 

  • There will be two aqua-sports events (Rafting and Coracling) – Carry at least 2 pairs of synthetic cloths.
  • We will be conducting 1 short night trek – carry powerful torch light with enough batteries.
  • Its rainy season – carry raincoat and extra cloths, socks.
  • Camp @ river bank – carry warm cloths.
  • Carry your sanitation gears – there are no rest rooms at camping spot.
  • When you are on trek, you can leave the luggage in the bus – no need to compromise on weight.
  • Bring your own sleeping bags and sleeping mats (sleeping bags & rucksacks are available with us @ Rs. 80 per event)
  • Weather is tempting there – but boozing is strictly prohibited.
  • Activities can fluctuate due to weather conditions.
  • You will reach back to Bangalore on Monday 14 th Aug 2006 before 06:00PM.
  • You will be out of mobile range for 3 days – Inform your parents, boss, gf, bf in advance.
  • Please carry some good recipes to experiment on outing - give me list of contents to buy from Bangalore.  
  • Music instruments are welcome. But no transistors or music systems allowed.

 Plans to conduct 3 days activity in Bheemeshwari Wildlife Sanctuary, Muttethi

Schedule:

12th Aug 06 Saturday:
06:00AM – 1st Meeting point - Symphony Theater, M.G.Road.
06:30AM – 2nd Meeting point – Family Mart, Kanakpura road.
10:00AM – Reach start point of trek. Trek, Lunch
06:00PM – Reach camping spot - camp fire, dinner, and sleep.

13th Aug 06 Saturday:
06:00AM – White Water rafting -1st batch
10:00AM – Outdoor games
02:00PM – Lunch
04:00PM – Coracling
06:00PM – Camp fire, Preparing 5 course meal, dinner.
10:00PM – Small Night Trek, wildlife spotting.

14th Aug 06 Saturday:
06:00AM – White Water rafting – 2nd batch.
08:00AM – Tree climbing, River crossing, Wild Outdoor games
12:00PM – Depart to Bangalore. 
This event is budgeted to approximately Rs. 2200.00 per person (which includes – Transport, Food, gears, first aid kit, tent, forest entry fees, long run of water rafting, coracling and lots of fun. And excludes - lunch on 14th Aug, sleeping bag, unexpected and spontaneous expenditure)

You can opt for event with or without rafting:

Without Rafting: Rs. 1450.00
